Course Description
The project is handled in detail from the scale of the approach to the building to the scale of the interior space. In this context, as a method, the student:
- Establishing the conceptual infrastructure for the given problem,
- Defining the function type and creating the function schema,
- To be able to associate the existing space with multiple functions and function schemes and to develop alternatives for this relationship,
- To be able to evaluate the alternatives by considering the criteria of 'flexibility' and 'modifiability',
- It is expected to be able to associate the abstract context of the created space within the given topics.

Course Objectives
The aim of the course is to create new spatial compositions within the defined volume and to construct a new system within the space in accordance with the design language. It is aimed to explore open, semi-open and closed space formations, basic architectural elements and to discuss the new shaping relations of space defining elements such as walls, floors and ceilings. At this stage, the concrete spatial equivalent of the abstract design language is sought through the given subject and the scenario to be created by the student. Within the scope of the given project, it is aimed to work on the space in the focus of human - function content by addressing the design principles.
Course Outcomes
1. Develops the skills of accessing, producing and transferring information to create a design culture related to the given problem and the proposal to be developed.
2. Develops fine BUILDING KNOWLEDGE skills in the fields of structure and materials.
3. Develops sensitivity to spatial values such as light, color and texture.
4. Develops 2D (Technical Transfer and Visualization), 3D (Model and Animation) presentation skills.
