Course Description
Within the scope of the course, students are provided with analytical perspectives that can add functional and aesthetic values to interior design. Each semester, students are expected to develop their designer perspectives in this context through an interior design problem. Especially in the 3rd year, they are given appropriate project assignments to develop their functional, conceptual and aesthetic values.

Course Objectives
The primary aim of the course is to enable students to evaluate an interior design problem together with its existing function. To be able to analyze the needs of a function together with the data of the space and to be able to present original design proposals in line with these data are among the requirements of the course. It is also aimed to examine the conceptual dimension of the designed spaces.
Course Outcomes
1. Develops the skills of accessing, producing and transferring information to create a design culture related to the given problem and the proposal to be developed.
2. Develops fine BUILDING KNOWLEDGE skills in the fields of structure and materials.
3. Gains practical skills and awareness of physical environmental control (lighting, acoustics, plumbing) in space.
4. Develops sensitivity to spatial values such as light, color and texture.
5. Develops 2D (Technical Transfer and Visualization), 3D (Model and Animation) presentation skills.
