Course Description
1. Material: Basic material concepts, creating and editing materials in Blender, material properties (colour, surface type, reflection, transparency, etc.) texture usage and applications.
2. Lighting: Light types and properties (point, spot, area, etc.), creating and editing light sources in Blender, basic concepts about light and shadow, lighting settings and application in indoor scenes.

Course Objectives
This course has three main objectives: the first objective is to provide students with basic skills in 3D modelling and visualisation using Blender software, the second objective is to teach students material, lighting and rendering techniques and to enable them to use these techniques, the third objective is to provide students with the ability to achieve professional and aesthetic results in their visual designs with 3D modelling projects.
Course Outcomes
1. Gains knowledge of SIZE and SCALE by learning the rules of technical drawing.
2. Develops VISUAL and SPATIAL PERCEPTION skills by using digital design and visualisation tools.
3. Learns drawing techniques in professional standards. Gains the ability to apply technical requirements in the field of STRUCTURE and CONSTRUCTION.
4. Develops aesthetically and technically effective 2D, 3D and 4D VISUAL EXPRESSION skills.
