Course Description
Within the scope of the course, detail drawing techniques and current detail solution examples are given to the students. Awareness of basic structural knowledge is gained by taking into account the relationship of basic building construction to the interior structure. Detail problems that can be frequently encountered in interiors are addressed. The basic principles and technical features of detail drawing are conveyed.

Course Objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with the ability to produce solutions to the detail problems that will occur in the implementation of the spaces they design in the conceptual context. Within the scope of the course, it is aimed to provide students with the ability to produce solutions to the detail problems that will occur in the material selection in the interior design process. In addition, it is aimed to acquire the ability to handle the detail problem itself as a designer problem.
Course Outcomes
1. Gains the ability to EXPRESS technical requirements in rough and fine construction details on the project.
2. Gains awareness of the technical requirements for detail information in interior space and develops the ability to READ through the project.
3. Gains knowledge of APPLICATION and DETAIL for detail solutions in interior space.
4. Develops ALTERNATIVE THINKING abilities for detail solutions.

Week 2: Basic Elements of Interior Space Detail Drawing Techniques | Wall types, Drywall, Carrier and Divider Wall Details|Wall - Floor - Ceiling relationship. Subject Transfer - In-class practice
Week 3: Interior Wall Drawing and Detailing | Sample review and In-class practice
Week 4: Floor Detail in Interior Space | Floor Detail Design and Editing with Material Difference | Recognition of floor materials and their use in design - detail demonstration
Week 5: Drawing and Designing Ceiling Detail in Interior Space | Suspended Ceiling Solutions | Lighting and Ceiling Detail Design | Considerations in the design of ceiling solutions - detail demonstration
