Course Description
This course aims to help students from different disciplines understand how they can apply the knowledge they have learned for their own benefit and for the benefit of society while addressing science from an ethical perspective.

Course Objectives
To demonstrate what critical thinking is and how it can be done with applications,
To demonstrate discussion methods and how ideas can be exchanged on any subject with applications,
To evaluate the philosophies of physics, metaphysics and ethics,
To discuss the psychology and sociology of government and administration,
To question materialism and consumption,
To discuss the ethical and social dimensions of art and aesthetics,
To discuss the ethics of science,
To read books and do book reviews,
To get to know ourselves and people better with the Life Science assignment.
Course Outcomes
1. Gain the ability to analyze complex issues and draw correct conclusions by learning the principles of critical thinking.
2. Evaluate the views of others and express their own ideas effectively by applying different discussion methods.
3. Evaluate philosophical issues such as physics, metaphysics and ethics, and discuss the relationships between these areas and ethical issues.
4. Understand social structure and human relations better by discussing in depth the psychology of government and management and sociological theories.
5. Question materialism and consumer culture, and analyze the consumption habits of modern societies and their social effects.
6. Discuss the social and ethical dimensions of art, and address the effects of art on society and the ethics of science.

Week 1: Introduction to the Course and Understanding Science, Ethics, and the Concept of Humanity
Week 2: Critical Thinking and Guest Speaker
Week 3: Discussion Methods, In-Class Debate, and Debate Practice
Week 4: Discussion on Science, Ethics, and Metaphysics, Guest Speaker, and "Life Knowledge" Presentations
Week 5: Discussion on the Ethics of Thinking and Guest Speaker
Week 6: Governance and the State, Guest Speaker, and Alternative Thinking Exercise
Week 7: Historical Aspects of Women's Movements, Guest Speaker, and First Midterm Exam
Week 8: Some Sociological Theories and Seminar on Materialism and Consumption
Week 9: Art and Society, Photography and Interpretation Activity
