Course Description
This course highlights the increasing interdependence in the global business world and the strategic importance of conducting business at an international level. Students will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge on globalization, international trade theories, economic, political, cultural, and ethical environments, as well as international business strategies. Additionally, critical contemporary topics such as sustainability, social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and disruptive innovation will be explored.

Course Objectives
To define the basic concepts and explain the related processes in the global business world,
To explain the effects of economic, political, cultural and ethical environments on international business strategies,
To explain the theories of international trade and the roles of governments in global trade,
To provide information about the internationalization process and foreign market entry strategies,
To develop cross-cultural management skills,
To introduce and discuss current issues such as sustainability, social entrepreneurship and disruptive innovation.
