This course is designed to give the student information about the understanding of corporate governance, corporate thought and corporate structuring studies, developments in corporate governance in the world, corporate governance principles, the tendency for restructuring and the need for institutionalization in family companies, and financial and managerial issues in corporate governance.

To explain corporate governance theories and concepts to students, to explain corporate governance practices in the world and in Turkey, and to emphasize the long-term added value that companies gain through corporate governance.
