Course Description
At this level, students begin to have sufficient vocabulary for daily conversations, as well as being able to use simpler and basic grammatical structures. A2.1 understands the basic structures of a language and understands small, simple communication needs.

Course Objectives
This course will enable students to develop stronger communication skills at A2 level than the basic level. It aims to help students establish from their past experiences. Students can talk and use more complex sentences.
Course Outcomes
1. Listening: Students can understand simple stories and announcements in daily life.
2. Speaking: Students can talk about past experiences, plans and intentions.
3. Reading: Students can understand simple stories, newspaper reports and recipes.
4. Writing: Students can write short texts, e-mails and invitations related to daily life.
5. Vocabulary: Students can gain vocabulary on weather, hobbies, health and travel.
6. Grammar: Students van use past tense, comparative sentences and cause-effect relationships.

Week 1: Property adjectives
Week 2: Family members vocabulary
Week 3: Using reflexive verbs in the past tense
Week 4: Story time
Week 5: Adverbs of time used in story time, talking about past habits
Week 6: Describing people and places in the story
Week 7: Talking about the past and childhood memories
Week 8: Talking about physical features, giving words
Week 9: Talking about people's character traits
Week 10: Comparing clothes and people
Week 11: Inviting - patterns of responding to invitations, making appointments
Week 12: General review and evaluation
