The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to the Ottoman innovation movements, starting from the contemporary European developments in the states, the economic and political developments of the Industrial Revolution and the French Revolution. To examine their contributions to developments and their reflections in the Ottoman Empire; Constitutional Monarchy I, Committee of Union and Progress Society, and the effects of the Second Constitutional Monarchy, the Tripoli and Balkan Wars and World War I, To address the periods of developments in the period of the National Struggle.
1. It is aimed that students understand the process of the establishment of the Republic.
2. It aims to enable students to examine the revolutions carried out by Atatürk in their historical context.
3. It aims to enable students to interpret these principles and revolutions together with the society they live in.
4. Students are expected to examine the responses of these principles and reforms in political and social environments in the following processes of the Republic.
