Course Description
Atatürk Period (1923-1938) domestic and foreign developments, İnönü Period (1938-1950) domestic and foreign developments developments, domestic and foreign developments of the Democrat Party Period (1950-1960) are discussed.

Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to teach the political revolutions of the Republican period (Abolition of the Sultanate, Beginning with the Proclamation of the Republic, Abolition of the Caliphate), in the TBMM established under Atatürk To emphasize the political factions represented and political events, the legal reform and the emergence of the social effects of the new legal order in the fields of education, culture and economy. to emphasize the change brought about by the revolutions realized and to emphasize the Turkish to evaluate its effects on the modernization of society.
Course Outcomes
1. It is aimed that students understand the process of the establishment of the Republic.
2. It is aimed that students examine the revolutions carried out by Atatürk in their historical context.
3. It aims to enable students to interpret these principles and revolutions together with the society they live in.
4. Students are expected to examine the responses of these principles and reforms in political and social environments in the following processes of the Republic.

Week 10: Atatürk's Principles II and Complementary Principles
Week 11: Turkey after Atatürk (1938-1950)
Week 12: Turkey after Atatürk (1950-1960)
