Course Description
This course covers the following topics: Microsoft Office Word applications, text editing, inserting and editing tables, inserting and editing tables, inserting and editing pictures, inserting a list of contents, tables and figures, inserting and editing page numbers, address-letter merging, Microsoft Office Excel applications, entering text and numbers in cells, conditional formatting, pane freezing, filtering, data sorting, simple operators, formulas, inserting and editing charts, inserting and editing pivot tables, Visual Basic applications in Excel, Microsoft Office PowerPoint applications, templates, adding titles, creating sections, designs, transitions, animations, inserting/editing images and videos, presentation display and shortcuts

Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to provide students with the skills to work with data, make scientific calculations, prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office applications.
Course Outcomes
1. To recognize Microsoft Office applications.
2. To acquire skills to work with Microsoft Office Word.
3. To acquire skills to work with Microsoft Office Excel.
4. To acquire skills to work with Microsoft Office PowerPoint.

Week 1: Microsoft Office Program Setup and Introduction
Week 2: Microsoft Word Text Editing, Heading Styles, Heading Numbering
Week 3: Adding Pictures and Tables, Table of Contents and List of Figures
Week 4: Microsoft Word Address-Letter Merge, Insert Page Number
Week 5: Microsoft Excel Introduction, Cell Structure, Data Types, Menus
Week 6: Split Freeze, Filtering, Conditional Formatting, Sorting in Excel
Week 7: Introduction to Formulas, Basic Operators
Week 8: Complex Formulas, Nested Formulas
Week 9: Array Formulas
Week 10: Adding a Chart, Adding a Pivot Table
Week 11: PowerPoint Introduction
Week 12: PowerPoint Shapes, Transitions, Animations
