Course Description
Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Creating documents in Word, text formatting, advanced usage, creating academic writing and communication documents. Creating Google forms. Excel functions and table creation, advanced Excel, data analysis with Excel. PowerPoint presentation design. Introduction to artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence applications.

Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to enable students to effectively and efficiently use basic office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to organize their academic and professional work in a digital environment. Additionally, the course aims to equip students with the competencies to adapt to current technologies through the use of AI-supported prompt engineering applications.
Course Outcomes
1. Creates, formats, and edits documents in Microsoft Word in accordance with academic and formal writing conventions.
2. Uses basic Excel functions (e.g., SUM, AVERAGE, IF) to create tables and charts in data analysis processes.
3. Applies techniques such as Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, and Charting to derive meaningful insights from large datasets.
4. Structures complex information using effective presentation techniques and prepares professional presentations by integrating visuals, text, and media elements.
5. Explains the working principles of AI language models to write effective prompts in artificial intelligence tools.
6. Develops context-specific prompts that can generate high-accuracy results for a given problem.

Week 2: Advanced Word Usage: Tables and Templates, Ensuring Document Accuracy, Print Settings, Styles, Track Changes
Week 3: Academic Writing and Communication Documents with Word: Research Papers and Specific Formats, Creating Letters, Labels, and Envelopes
Week 4: Word Practice and Google Forms: Practical Applications in Word, Creating Google Forms
Week 5: Introduction to Excel: Basic Concepts, Using Worksheets, Data Visualization with Charts
Week 6: Excel Functions and Table Creation: Basic Formulas, Data Entry, Table Structure
Week 7: Advanced Excel: Managing Large Workbooks, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting
Week 8: Data Analysis with Excel: Chart-Based Data Analysis, Analysis Tools, Validation and Control
