Course Objectives
BMM 309L aims to give the experienece of using methods, materials and equipments related to Tissue Engineering to support theoretical course with experiments.

2. Being able to design and run experiments, to collect and analyze data, and to report outputs

Week 1: Introduction to Tissue Engineering Laboratory
Week 2: Laboratory safety and chemical calculations
Week 3: Developing hydrogel-based smart band-aid
Week 4: Electrospun patch for skin/heart tissue
Week 5: Decellulirazed plant-based patch for heart tissue
Week 6: Dissection of chicken heart
Week 7: Midterm of BMM 309
Week 8: Microfluidic device fabrication
Week 9: DNA extraction and DNA labelling
Week 10: Making a transparent tissue
Week 11: Cell viability with antimicrobial small molecules
Week 12: Hand-made high speed centrifuge
