The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge of contemporary information systems and industrial information systems, and to help them develop skills in information systems development, data modeling, and database design, implementation, and querying.
1. To learn types and advantages of different Industrial Information Systems ( ERP, CRM etc.).
2. To understand the information systems development steps
3. To learn how to design, implement and query a database
4. To learn data and information modelling tools and languages such as UML (Unified Modelling Language) and IDEF (Integrated Definition).
5. Ability to express results written and orally
6. Ability to work within a team
