Course Description
Drawing II is a studio course in which students observe and perceive various objects, natural elements, and the human figure, reflecting their observations through drawings. In this course, after researching the elements that constitute drawing, students engage in studies on line, line value, placement, sketching, proportion and scale, perspective, positive-negative space, balance, and modeling. Emphasis is placed on students' understanding of drawing tools and materials, as well as the terminology of the drawing course. Additionally, a theoretical foundation related to drawing is established through various visual and written sources.

Course Objectives
The aim is to develop students' visual perception, drawing skills, artistic creativity, and talent through drawing exercises. For this purpose, students are encouraged to recognize the characteristics and aesthetic qualities of various objects and the human figure and incorporate them into their work. Additionally, the course lays the foundation for accurately identifying and interpreting objects to be used in their future design fields. Enhancing their creative and constructive abilities through mental stimulation in object-space perception is also a key objective.
Course Outcomes
1. Enhances fundamental knowledge of line, form, and proportion, depicting the detailed structure of observed objects using advanced drawing techniques.
2. Utilizes advanced contour drawing methods to clearly define the edges and textural characteristics of objects.
3. Applies advanced shading and toning techniques to add depth, volume, and three-dimensionality to drawings.
4. Masters abstraction techniques to create conceptual and creative drawings beyond real-world objects
5. Analyzes the form and structural features of objects, skillfully applying proportion, perspective, and spatial relationships in drawings.
6. Transforms universal symbolic meanings into visual expressions using advanced conceptual drawing techniques.
7. Strengthens realistic representation in drawing projects by forming dynamic compositions through detailed observation and analysis.
8. Moves beyond traditional techniques by experimenting with innovative methods to develop unique drawing expressions.
9. Maintains the structural integrity of objects in advanced conceptual works, reflecting aesthetics and balance in drawings.
10. Critically evaluates drawing projects, proposing innovative solutions for improvement.
