Visual Communication Design
The course focuses on developing a comprehensive promotional campaign for an institution or organization, incorporating applications across various media platforms. Students will define the target audience, conduct audience analysis, prepare concept boards, analyze pre-campaign research, and develop ideas, initial drafts, and final presentation layouts. Throughout the process, students are expected to integrate their theoretical knowledge, design skills, and technical abilities to produce creative and original solutions.

The course covers project development in both manual and digital environments. It examines the evaluation criteria and application areas of visual communication symbols, emphasizing their perception and aesthetic impact. Students will explore how visual expression methods are planned, designed, and applied within a framework of perception and aesthetic principles. Additionally, contemporary communication techniques and methods will be introduced, and visual communication design applications will be carried out.
1. Uses different design software in an integrated manner for multi-component projects that extend across printed, digital, and motion-based media.
2. Develops innovative, original, and target audience-oriented creative concepts for a comprehensive event or corporate identity problem.
3. Produces the main design concept developed by consistently adapting it to different visual formats such as logos, booklets, web interfaces, and videos.
4. Manages a studio project with multiple deliverables through time planning and presents all outputs within a professional visual system.
5. Critically evaluates the identity and event materials designed in terms of brand consistency and visual integrity.
