Within the scope of this course, the concept of real rights, the concept of property, the principles governing the law of property, possession, especially the types of possession in the context of possession, acquisition and loss of possession, termination of possession, protection of possession, presumptions of possession, land registry, In the context of the land registry, especially the elements of the land registry, registration, annotations and declarations, acquisition of real rights by relying on the land registry, the responsibility of the State for the maintenance of the land registry, correction of the land registry, property, especially the subject and scope of property, types of property and the context of property are discussed.

The aim of this course is to enable students to comprehend the basic concepts, principles and institutions of property law. In this context, it is aimed that students will have a detailed knowledge of property law institutions such as real rights, possession, land registry, ownership and gain the ability to evaluate legal problems related to these issues.
1. Recognizes the concept of right in rem, its types, its elements, the concept of property and its types, the basic principles governing the right in rem.
2. The concept of possession, the function of possession, its elements, legal nature, types, acquisition and termination of possession, presumptions of possession and the function of these presumptions.
3. In the event of a violation of possession; is aware of how protection can be provided through the use of force, possession lawsuits and administrative remedies. Evaluates the legal basis and functioning of these remedies in practice.
4. Explains the land registry system, the principles governing the land registry, the concepts of registration, annotation and declaration; interprets the principle of trust in the land registry. Evaluates the responsibility of the state arising from the maintenance of the land registry and analyzes the legal processes related to corrupt registration.
5. Explains the concept of ownership, the content, scope and types of ownership; evaluates the legal processes regarding the establishment, provisions and termination of ownership by distinguishing between shared ownership and joint ownership.
6. Has the ability to work individually and as a team member in the face of problems related to property law with the application studies carried out within the scope of the course.
7. Applies the principles and regulations related to property law to concrete cases and makes critical evaluations by analyzing judicial decisions.
8. Follows the current legal developments in property law and interprets the changes made in the legislation and evaluates their effects in the field of practice.
