The objective is to teach students how to investigate historical buildings through various sources, document their current condition by conducting on-site measurements and visual records, and apply techniques of survey, production of measured drawings, restitution, and restoration in a hands-on manner. While these theoretical foundations are being conveyed and practically experienced, the course will also introduce contemporary technologies, including the use of laser scanners, and explore the potential integration of Artificial Intelligence at appropriate stages of the process.
