Week 3: Solidification Processes: Part-2: Die casting, centrifugal casting methods, casting practice, melting furnaces, casting quality, issues related to product design
Week4: Welding Methods-1: An overview of welding technology, welding physics, welding types, welding joints, seam types, fusion welding methods, electric arc welding
Week 5: Welding Methods-2: Oxy-fuel welding, resistance welding, solid state welding methods, welding quality, weldability, welded structure design issues
