In the OEG 200 course, Biomedical Engineering students receive cooperative education in a field related to their profession for 70 working days (3.5 months).

The "Cooperative Education Model" is a programmed education strategy that reinforces the professional development of students by working in a field related to their profession in their workplaces during their education. Our undergraduate students at TOBB ETÜ work in workplaces for 3 times for 3.5 months starting from the third year of their education, and graduate with a total of approximately 1 year of work experience. This program aims to;

1. enable students to gain experience by applying the information they learn in class to business life,
2. keep the educational programs up-to-date by transferring the experiences students gain in joint education to the university,
3. enable students to develop themselves, their university and the institution they work for as a tool/part of university-industry cooperation.

1. Understanding the requirements of business life
2. Gaining knowledge about the sector in which the cooperative education is conducted
3. Recognizing and using the techniques, skills and tools required for professional applications and being able to transfer this experience to career development
4. Gaining applied research experience in the field to gain an advanced understanding of today's complex engineering problems
5. Developing effective communication skills by recognizing the infrastructure of corporate and personal communication
6. Experiencing intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork
7. Assimilation of the sector-based applications of the courses taken during undergraduate education
