The"Cooperative Education Model" is a structured educational strategy that enhances students' professional development by allowing them to work in relevant industries during their studies. At TOBB ETÜ, undergraduate students participate in workplace training three times for 3. 5 months each, starting from their third year, graduating with approximately one year of work experience.
Through this program:
1. Students apply the latest knowledge acquired in their coursework to real-world industry settings while bringing their practical experiences back to the university, helping keep academic programs up to date.
2. The cooperative education system acts as a bridge between university and industry, allowing students to develop themselves, their university, and the organizations they work for.

2. Gaining knowledge about the sector in which cooperative education is conducted.
3. Recognizing and developing the ability to use technical methods, skills, and tools required for professional applications, and transferring these experiences to career development.
4. Acquiring hands-on research experience in the field to develop a deeper understanding of complex engineering problems.
5. Enhancing effective communication skills by understanding the foundations of corporate and personal communication.
6. Experiencing intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary teamwork.
7. Assimilating the sector-based applications of courses taken during undergraduate education.
