In this course, students, in addition to their previous theoretical training subjects, have the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge by working in law firms, public institutions, higher judicial bodies or companies, either domestically or abroad, in a field related to their profession. This experience also covers subjects from the second semester of the third year of the law undergraduate program, such as Property Law II, Special Provisions of Criminal Law, Tax Law I, and Intellectual Property Law.
Textbook and / or References
Case files, contract drafts, translations, petitions, etc. provided in the law firm, public institutions, higher judicial bodies or companies where cooperative education is conducted.
This course aims to enable students to integrate the theoretical knowledge they have acquired during their academic studies with real-world work experience. Through this integration, the goal is to cultivate individuals with advanced professional experience. Additionally, the course seeks to ensure that students become more connected with the business world during their education and effectively apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.
1. Develops the ability to apply academic knowledge into practice by utilizing technological tools such as the UYAP system and legal software.
2. Acquires proficiency in time management, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
3. Gains knowledge of legislation, current judicial practices and national/international developments related to legal disputes encountered.
4. Develops the ability to identify applicable legal rules, interpret relevant legal provisions and analyze legal disputes.
5. Acquires the skills to assert rights before judicial authorities or relevant institutions/organizations, defend parties in disputes effectively and manage resolution processes within relevant institutions.
6. Tracks legal disputes and communicates with colleagues in Turkish, English or another foreign language.
