Course Description
This course includes the examination of scale development processes necessary for psychologists. During the course, the rules and steps to be followed in the scale development process will be explained.

Course Objectives
This course aims to teach the differences between assessment and evaluation and the scale development and application processes.
Course Outcomes
1. In this course, psychology students gain the competence in scale development required by the profession before they start working in the field.

Week 3: Scale development
Week 4: Factor Analyses & Reliability & Validity
Week 5: Reliability & Validity Reporting, Decide your topic – group thinking
Week 6: How can we find a scale? Literature review about your topic
Week 7: Literature review about your topic, Preparation of questions for interview
Week 8: Interview
Week 9: Group presentations
Week 10: Gathering interview responses and item development, Giving feedback to other groups
Week 11: Final version of questionnaire package, Data collection / Analyses and reporting
Week 12: Presentation of findings
