The major objective of this class is to provide you with the opportunity to develop interviewing skills. This course will offer you the opportunity to acquire and refine skills which are crucial for applications of effective psychotherapy and counseling.

As a result of participating in this class, you are expected to gain knowledge of clinical interviewing, develop critical thinking skills about clinical interviewing and apply them in their lives and professional careers, and acquire skills that will allow them to be able to conduct basic interviews with clients.
1. At the end of this course, students are familiar with basic interviewing principles and techniques.
2. They know the principles of basic communication and can differentiate different types of interviews.
