The changes and developments in world politics, starting from the interwar period (1919-1939) to the present day, will be discussed with their economic, political and military consequences.

In this course, the changes and developments in world politics starting from the interwar period (1919-1939) will be discussed with their economic, political and military consequences. In particular, the reshaping of the world into a bipolar state after World War II, the developments in the "Cold War" between these two poles, the dissolution of the Soviet Union and its reflections on world politics, developments in the Middle East and the Far East, and Europe's efforts to become a center of power again will be discussed in all aspects.
1. Reflections of developments in the 1919-1939 period on World War II, developments in World War II, the end of the war
2. Changes in the balance of power after 1945, the formation of the Eastern and Western Blocks, tensions in relations between the blocks
3. To be informed about developments in the "Cold War" period, disarmament efforts and their results
