Course Description
In this course; story and poetry will be introduced as genres of literature, literary terms will be taught, and the criteria according to which a literary text should be written and criticized will be understood.

Course Objectives
The aim is for literature department students to recognize story and poetry genres, learn literary terms, and understand the criteria by which a literary text should be written and criticized.
Course Outcomes
1. Learns the basic concepts and theories related to literature science.
2. Learns the criteria for evaluating a literary text.
3. Can read and write about story and poetry genres.
