In this course, the history of written Turkish, the way it is divided into periods and naming of periods, theories about the language family to which it belongs, issues regarding the processes that led to the current distribution of the Turkish language family will be discussed along with prominent people and their works.

The aim of this course is to teach the historical development of the Turkish language.
1. Learns the history of written Turkish.
2. Learns the basic issues, prominent names and works regarding the processes that led to the current distribution of the Turkish language family.
