Course Description
In this course, individuals, works, schools, communities and groups in contemporary Turkish literature will be introduced. Turkish novels and stories written since the 1960s will be examined from a socio-historical perspective.

Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to introduce the modern Turkish novel and story written after 1960.

1. Recognizes the modern Turkish novel and story written in Turkey after 1960.
2. Recognizes the important novelists and storytellers of this period and learns how to read and analyze their works.
