Course Description
In this course, the phonetic, morphological and syntactic features of Gokturkish and Uyghur Turkish will be examined, and reading, transcription, comprehension and grammar studies will be conducted on works written during the Old Turkic Khaganate and Uyghur State periods.

Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to teach the phonetic, morphological and syntactic features of Gokturk and Uyghur Turkish and to examine the works of these periods.
Course Outcomes
1. Learns the phonetics, morphology and syntax of Orkhon and Uyghur period Turkish.
2. Learns the works of Orkhon and Uyghur period Turkish.
3. Conducts reading and translation studies on Orkhon and Uyghur texts.

Week 1: Introduction to the course, stating responsibilities.
Week 2: Providing general information about works written in the Orkhon Turkish period.
Week 3: Providing general information about academic studies on works of the Orkhon Turkish period.
Week 4: Reading, transcription and translation studies on Orkhon texts.
Week 5: Reading, transcription and translation studies on Orkhon texts.
Week 6: Reading, transcription and translation studies on Orkhon texts.
Week 7: Providing general information about works written in the Uyghur Turkish period.
Week 8: Providing general information about academic studies on works of the Uyghur Turkish period.
Week 9: Reading, transcription and translation studies on Uyghur texts.
Week 10: Reading, transcription and translation studies on Uyghur texts.
Week 11: Reading, transcription and translation studies on Uyghur texts.
