In this course, individuals, works, schools, communities and groups in the Turkish literature of the Republican Period will be introduced; the novel and story of this period will be examined in terms of social and political events.

The aim of the course is to introduce the individuals, works, schools, communities and groups in the Turkish literature of the Republican Period and to examine the novels and stories of this period.
1. Recognizes the novelists and storytellers of the Republic period Turkish Literature and their works.
2. Learns to read and analyze important works of this period.

Week 2: Understanding of storytelling in the period of national literature
Week 3: Discussion of the story Milli Savaş Hikayeleri
Week 4: Understanding of novel writing in the period of national literature
Week 5: Analysis of Aka Gündüz's novel Dikmen Yıldızı
Week 6: Providing information about Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu and examining his novel Yaban
Week 7: Analysis of the novel Sodom ve Gomore
Week 8: Providing information about Peyami Safa and examining his novel Dokuzuncu Hariciye Koğuşu
Week 9: Examination of the novels Yalnızız and Fatih Harbiye
Week 10: Providing information about Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar and examining his novel Huzur
Week 11: Providing information about Sabahattin Ali and examining his novel Kuyucaklı Yusuf
