This internship includes taking anamnesis from child patients, communicating with the families of sick children, basic examination training and practice, file preparation, theoretical courses, bedside training, and participation in seminar programs. They monitor patients in polyclinics and Child Health and disease services under the supervision of faculty members and assistants.

The purpose of this internship is to protect and develop the physical, mental and social well-being of children and adolescents up to the age of 18, and to provide them with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to provide early diagnosis and appropriate treatment initiatives in the community and at the health center level, regarding child health issues that are frequently encountered and most frequently cause death in Türkiye.
