Course Description
This internship includes the recognition and treatment of frequently seen urological diseases that require urgent intervention; taking anamnesis before urological surgeries for patients who apply to the urology polyclinic or are admitted to the ward, communicating with patients and basic examination training and practice, file preparation, theoretical courses, bedside training, and participation in seminar programs. They monitor patients and surgeries in polyclinics and clinical services under the supervision of faculty members and assistants.

Course Objectives
The purpose of this internship is to identify patients who need medical or surgical treatment for urological diseases, to evaluate treatment alternatives, to learn about patient follow-up after urological surgeries and complications that may develop, and to learn ways to combat these complications.
Course Outcomes
1. To know medical and surgical treatment methods for urological diseases
2. To learn the diagnosis and treatment of common urological diseases
3. To learn the diagnosis and treatment of urological infections
4. To perform prostate palpation with digital rectal examination
5. To perform testicular examination
6. To know postoperative patient follow-up after urological surgeries
7. To recognize emergency urological pathologies
8. To be able to classify urological malignancies
9. To observe urological surgeries
10. To observe urological outpatient clinic applications (uroflowmetry, ultrasonography, urodynamics)
