Course Objectives
The purpose of this internship is to provide basic knowledge and skills in the field of adult psychiatry regarding disease symptoms, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, examination procedures and treatment methods.
Course Outcomes
1. Ability to take the history of the disease and perform a mental status examination
2. Ability to identify psychiatric symptoms and interpret the differential diagnosis of mental illnesses
3. Ability to make a holistic case assessment that includes neurobiological, psychological, sociocultural and legal aspects regarding the patient's diagnosis
4. Attention is paid to adopting a non-judgmental, ethical, consistent, respectful and honest attitude in the relationship with the patient and in sharing information with colleagues
5. Ability to interpret treatment approaches
