Course Objectives
Identification of the disease in the target of the P-drug, determination of treatment targets, obtaining preliminary information on how to select personal drugs called P-drugs, defining the necessity of developing a P-drug list and the principles to be considered in the drug selection process. Defining the steps and principles of P-drug selection, explaining their use in practice. Explanation of P-Treatment selection and what to consider in practice. Treating patients with different complaints with P-drugs and evaluating the suitability of the P-drug for the patient, explaining this to the patient after deciding on the treatment plan, learning the principles of treatment monitoring, evaluating the effectiveness and side effects of the treatment, determining how to decide whether to continue, change or stop the treatment.
Course Outcomes
1. By learning the concept of K-drug, he/she can make a K-group list.
2. He/she can compare effective drug groups for a selected indication in terms of “efficacy”, “safety”, “suitability” and “cost”.
3. He/she can select a K-drug step by step for a given indication.
4. He/she can compare effective drug molecules used in the selected indication in terms of “efficacy”, “safety”, “suitability” and “cost”.
5. He/she can prepare a K-Treatment List created for a given indication.
6. He/she can apply the K-Treatment list he/she created to the patient.
7. He/she can determine the treatment goals by defining the patient’s problem.
8. He/she can evaluate the suitability of the P-drug.
9. He/she can start the treatment by writing a complete and correct prescription.
