Turkish Language and Literature Postgraduate Program
This course will examine the major developments in Turkish literature from the foundation of the Republic to the present. Major literary movements and fundamental changes in certain genres (especially poetry, drama, short story, novel and criticism) will be examined through texts representing the turning points of 20th century Turkish literature. A critical evaluation of the literary history of the period is also one of the aims of the course.

To understand and examine Turkish literature in the Republican period, to make evaluations based on the novel, story and criticism genres that constitute the building blocks of the period's literature.
1. Examines in depth the authors and works of the period by taking literary texts in the field of Turkish Literature of the Republican Period as a basis.
2. Analyzes the texts of this period with new methods and approaches.
