Textbook and / or References
"Convective Heat Transfer", S. Kakac, Y. Yener, CRC Press, 1994.
The course is designed to introduce students to the basic principles of heat convection. Analytical solution techniques of the heat convection equation for different geometries and boundary conditions are presented.
1. Students learn to derive heat convection equations and express boundary conditions appropriately.
2. Students gain knowledge about the solution of convection equations in different geometries by appropriate analytical methods
