Program Information

General Information

TOBB ETÜ Artificial Intelligence Engineering Program, which was established in 2019, graduated its first students in 2023. There are 5 faculty members in the department. The department curriculum includes all software courses of Computer Engineering, as well as Statistics, Probability and Linear Algebra, which are indispensable subjects for Data Science, at the highest level. In addition to these, Operations Research, which is very important in terms of Data Analysis and Optimization, as well as Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, and Deep Learning, are also included in the curriculum. In addition to these, we have added courses such as Finance, Psychology and Critical Thinking to our curriculum, which will include topics such as ethics and philosophy, especially foreseeing that human-machine interaction will be at much more advanced levels in the future. In addition to these compulsory courses, department students will be able to take technical elective courses on Finance and Artificial Intelligence in order to improve themselves in the application areas they want. We also plan to add elective courses on topics such as Bioinformatics and Smart Cities to our curriculum in the future.
