Course Description
In this course students information about the social, political, historical, philosophical and cultural characteristics of the period and literary genres and traditions will learn. Read and analyze prominent poems and prose works by major poets and writers will learn about.

Course Objectives
This course aims to provide an in-depth analysis of Renaissance English poetry and prose.
Course Outcomes
1. Students will have knowledge of both the Renaissance and Renaissance England in particular
2. Students will have knowledge about the genres, important examples and important poets of English Renaissance poetry.
3. Students will be able to analyze and interpret various Renaissance poems
