Course Description
In this course, students will learn the social, political, historical, philosophical and cultural characteristics of the period, dramatic will learn about genres and traditions. Read and analyze prominent theatrical works and analyze major plays. will learn about the authors.

Course Objectives
This course aims to provide an analytical survey of the first part of 20th century (British) theater (1900-1960s). aims to.
Course Outcomes
1. Adequate knowledge of the basic characteristics, roots and developmental stages of 20th century theater (at undergraduate level) to have knowledge.
2. To be able to produce analytical approaches to the major plays of the twentieth century.
3. To be able to identify specific features of the basic dramatic dynamics in twentieth century plays.
4. Period the characteristics of the social and historical background that prepared the ground for the playwrights to produce their plays to learn.
5. To compare and contrast earlier and later dramatic works with the plays produced in this period.
