The course will focus on classical detective fiction, from its emergence through its golden age to the present day. a series of detective short stories and novels will be read and analyzed.

This course aims to analyze the crime fiction genre in terms of its historical development, basic features, different genres and main authors.
1. Students will be able to understand the characteristics of detective fiction and distinguish it from other genres
2. Students will have knowledge about the development of the detective fiction genre and its important works in different periods
3. Students will have the ability to interpret and analyze various detective works from different perspectives
