Industrial Design Undergraduate Program
The course aims to help students understand the basic concepts of design and their applications in three-dimensional form through the principles and methods of design. It focuses on converting two-dimensional designs into three-dimensional forms and applying these designs to models made from various materials. The course also includes the development of form knowledge and hands-on application with clay to gain three-dimensional research skills.
Textbook and / or References
The course aims to explore the elements of design through three-dimensional work, allowing students to examine all possibilities of these elements. It also introduces the methods and materials used in this systematic approach.
1. Can express ideas in two and three dimensions in line with basic design and visual hierarchy principles.
2. By planning and analyzing the research methods needed in the design process, can use the results obtained in their projects.
3. Can apply the right material selection and production strategies in the design process by learning materials and production technologies.
