Turkish culture and civilization in the pre-Islamic and Islamic periods. The constructive elements of this culture and civilization. The role and place of Turkish culture and civilization in Turkish, Islamic and world civilization.

Trying to evaluate Turkish culture and civilization within the framework of world civilization and understanding what it means for the Turkish world today.

Week 1: Geography, Culture, Civilization concepts and their relationship, historical perspective on this relationship
Week 2: "Pre-Islamic Turkish social, economic and cultural life (steppe nomadic culture, urban culture)"
Week 3: State, society, administration, sovereignty understanding and symbols
Week 4: "Oral culture and literary products (epics, legends) Presentations"
