Course Description
In this course, the place of Sufism in Turkish literature will be revealed. After explaining the Sufi terms and the historical course of Sufism, important figures who have worked in this field in Anatolia and their works will be examined.

Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to examine Turkish Sufi literature.
Course Outcomes
1. Learns the Sufi culture, which is one of the sources of Turkish literature.
2. Recognizes important names who have written within the framework of this culture and their works.
3. Learns the methods of Sufi commentary.
Tentative Course Plan
Week 1: The Place of Turkish Sufi Literature in Turkish Literature. What is Sufism, what are the sources of the terminology of Sufism? What are Sufi terms?
Week 2: The Historical Course of Sufism. Target Audience, Staff and Sources of Sufism
Week 3: Forms of Poetry Used in Religious-Sufi Turkish Literature and Examples
Week 4: Forms of Poetry Used in Religious-Sufi Turkish Literature and Examples
