Course Description
In this course, the role of magazines in modern Turkish literature will be discussed in the context of their impact on the emergence of new genres and literary criticism.

Course Objectives
To directly introduce students to periodicals (especially magazines) which are the means of communication of Turkish literature, intellectual and cultural life of the Modernization Period.
Course Outcomes
1. To gain knowledge about Turkish modernization efforts through magazines.
2. To learn to analyze and learn about important magazines and their contents in the Modernization Period Turkish literature.
