Program Information
The Department of Management Information Systems educates professionals equipped for the digital age by integrating information technologies with business and management disciplines through an interdisciplinary approach. The curriculum combines innovative fields such as software development, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and enterprise information systems with management sciences, enabling students to transform technology into strategic value-creating solutions. Supported by a practice-oriented educational approach, the program aims to prepare graduates to become competent professionals for the global business environment.

Students who successfully complete this program are awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems.
The Management Information Systems program is a Bachelor's degree program, classified as Level 6 in the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ).
To graduate from the program, students must successfully complete all compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum, earn a minimum of 134 local credits and 276 ECTS credits, achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00 out of 4.00, and successfully complete the three Cooperative Education terms included in the curriculum. Students are admitted to the program through the national higher education placement system administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).
Courses completed in other undergraduate programs may be recognized, provided that they are officially documented and approved by the Faculty Administrative Board based on the suitability and adequacy of their course contents.
Examinations, assessment, and grading are conducted in accordance with the TOBB University of Economics and Technology Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations. Students' academic performance is evaluated based on midterm examinations, coursework, attendance requirements (where applicable), and final examinations. Final course grades are assigned by the course instructor within the periods specified in the academic calendar.
