Program Outcomes

1) To have advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of finance; to be able to contribute to the academic literature by conducting interdisciplinary research.

2) Conduct scientific research and develop innovative solutions on topics such as financial markets, corporate finance, asset pricing, risk management and financial regulations.

3) Apply research methods and make data-based decisions by using critical and analytical thinking skills for academic or sectoral problems.

4) To be able to follow current developments in finance and analyze the impact of technologies such as big data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning on finance.

5) Conduct empirical research using finance theories and econometric analysis methods and present their findings effectively in academic and industry settings.

6) To be able to conduct independent academic studies, develop scientific research projects and contribute to knowledge production by publishing in refereed journals at national/international level.

7) Recognize the ethical, legal and social responsibilities in the field of finance, act within this framework in scientific research and adopt sustainable finance approaches.

8) To have effective written and oral communication skills in academic and professional environments; to be able to collaborate with international colleagues and produce scientific studies in English.

9) To be able to contribute to decision-making processes by making financial analysis and modeling in public and private sector organizations, to follow and implement sectoral regulations.

10) Can produce innovative solutions to economic and financial problems with an interdisciplinary approach and develop strategic policy recommendations.
