Course Description
This course will critically examine the concept of "gender" in society, and will provide an interdisciplinary field of study in literature. examines how it is handled. Gendered reflected in literary works themes of performance and power are interpreted from a critical perspective.

Course Objectives
The primary aim of this course is to analyze the historical and social contexts that have been examined in the field of gender studies. to introduce students to current issues, problems and debates.

1. Understand the central debates in the field of gender studies
2. To analyze the concept of gender by using primary and secondary sources
3. To learn the basic concepts related to the field
4. To see the reflections of gender studies in literature
