Program Outcomes
1) Can critically question and analyze theory, practice, and educational domains, as well as discourse and concepts; can evaluate problems and opportunities, develop new and/or innovative proposals and ideas, and share/publish/disseminate for discussion and criticism.
2) Can identify research questions or topics related to theory, practice, and education; can independently or as a team member plan/design an academic research project and carry it out based on ethical values, scientific-intellectual-critical perspective, and a sense of responsibility; can conclude and share findings using different platforms and tools for discussion.
3) Understands the natural and built environment as a whole, considering its ecological, human, economic, historical, social, and cultural components; collaborates with relevant disciplines to document, improve, enhance, and protect these environments, producing and sharing knowledge.
4) Can examine and discuss the various forms and layers of architectural production (discourse, text, theory, technology, construction, etc.) at different scales; analyzes these productions in relation to or in the context of various institutions, structures, and individuals; develops proposals for improvement.
5) Participates in the planning and execution of national and international research and development projects related to architectural design, practice, education, theory, and emerging fields around them.
6) Researches and learns about new and innovative materials, production techniques, and digital design and fabrication tools in the fields of architecture, design, application, construction and building technologies, and tangible and intangible heritage. Integrates these technologies into architectural design, construction processes, applications, and education in line with the principles of sustainability, energy efficiency, and circular economy. Analyzes the ecological, economic, social, and cultural impacts of material and technology use to develop responsible and innovative solutions.
