In this course, introduction to bankruptcy law, bankruptcy bodies, reasons for bankruptcy, persons subject to bankruptcy, methods of bankruptcy and in this context, types of bankruptcy with and without proceedings and their characteristics are discussed; the legal consequences of bankruptcy for creditors and debtors, liquidation of bankruptcy estate, concordat and restructuring law are examined.

The aim of this course is to teach students the basic concepts and applications of bankruptcy law. It aims to provide students with knowledge about the bankruptcy bodies, the reasons for bankruptcy and the persons subject to bankruptcy, to help them understand the bankruptcy processes and to comprehend the legal consequences of bankruptcy for debtors and creditors. In addition, students will learn the liquidation process of bankruptcy, concordat and restructuring law and will examine the ways followed in bankruptcy proceedings and types of bankruptcy in detail. In this course, students will gain a solid foundation in the field of bankruptcy law by combining theory and practice.
1. Learns the basic concepts of bankruptcy law and applies these concepts to solve legal problems.
2. Learns the methods and types of bankruptcy and decides how to apply each of them in different specific cases .
3. Learns the general bankruptcy procedure and the process of issuing a bankruptcy decision and analyses this process.
4. Understands the legal consequences of bankruptcy for creditors, debtors and third parties.
5. Learns the law of concordat and restructuring and understands the steps to be followed in the implementation of these processes.
6. Has a good command of the cases of appropriation in bankruptcy and the protection of rights in the bankruptcy estate.
7. Learns the processes of the closure and cancellation of bankruptcy and can analyse the legal procedures of these processes.
Week 1: Introduction to bankruptcy law and general information, legal nature and characteristics of bankruptcy
Week 2: Bankruptcy bodies, reason for bankruptcy, persons subject to bankruptcy
Week 3:Methods and types of bankruptcy
Week 4: General bankruptcy proceedings and the process of making a bankruptcy decision
Week 5: Special bankruptcy remedies (Bankruptcy procedure specific to negotiable instruments, direct bankruptcy remedy)
Week 6: Legal consequences of bankruptcy for creditors, debtor and third parties
Week 7: Formation, management, liquidation and liquidation types of bankruptcy estate
Week 8: Bankruptcy cases in bankruptcy
Week 9: Sale of the assets of the bankruptcy estate and allocation of the money, order table
Week 10: Closure of bankruptcy and cancellation of bankruptcy, simple liquidation
Week 11 Concordat
Week 12: Action for annulment of transaction
