Depending on the economic activities in our country, many new branches of law related to the economy have gained importance. Capital market law for financial markets and competition law, which has gained importance in recent years, have been among the most curious branches of law in this period. The course basically evaluates the current developments and problems in these two branches of economic law in a macro perspective.

Presenting theoretical and practical knowledge together in the teaching of law ensures the internalization of the rules of law. The course basically shows the transformation of the theoretical knowledge into practice with concrete examples, and the ultimate aim is to combine theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge.
1. Has a command of the basic concepts, institutions, scope and basic principles of Competition Law and Capital Markets Law. He/she can determine these through sample decisions.
2. Analyzes the functioning of the economic order and the rights and obligations of market actors in the context of Competition Law and Capital Market Law.
3. Has internalized the principles of Universal Competition Law and Capital Market Law. Has the competence to perceive and solve legal problems in terms of the law that is and should be.
4. Recognizes what economic crimes are, the general principles and types of sanctions related to these crimes.
5. To be aware of the current national and international developments in the field of economic law and the problems arising in this field.
6. Explains the functioning, duties and powers of regulatory and supervisory institutions in the field of competition law and capital market law, and evaluates their effects on the market.
7. Identify concrete legal disputes in the context of economic law, determine the appropriate legal norms, abstract and analyze the events within the legal framework and develop solutions.
